TRY THIS NEW LEVEL OF MEDITATION

A lot of wanna be monks out there will tell you how to meditate. They will ask you to go to the top of the mountain, the quietest place, the most serene place and meditate there. They will even tell you the number of breathing, deep exhalation, covering of noses, stomach in and out etc. They will tell you complicated steps that will only confuse you and make life difficult for you. You will even wonder if what you're doing is right or wrong.

The truth is... you can meditate anywhere, anytime. Even if there are noises around you.. you can still meditate. Even if you're at the office and doing something, you can still meditate.

You will just stop thinking and start breathing and that's it. Become very relaxed while breathing. Don't do anything, just focus on your breathing, breathe slowly and calmly. Even if there are noises surrounding you... still focus on breathing and relaxing. This is another level of meditation. It is meditating in noisy places, it is meditating when you need to meditate badly.

Meditational gurus will tell you to meditate in quiet places to avoid being disturb but the reality is in life... you will always be disturb. People and events will always disturb you so you need to try to quiet your mind in noisy places, don't quiet your mind in quiet places because that will only make you a little better.

Meditate during traffic, listen to your emotions, I know you're angry and impatient so that is the time you need to meditate. Just calm your mind, breathe and relax. Focus on driving while not thinking a lot, just focus on the road, breathe slowly and deeply. Quiet your mind, it is possible, never rush and just keep driving while meditating. You will feel good in a while, you will feel better and the traffic will get better too, your decisions will become better. Time will become faster and your driving will become easier.

You can do this anywhere, when your mind is already crowded... just try to relax and breathe deeply. Think slowly and never force anything.

Stay focus on what you're doing, you can even meditate while washing the dishes, just take it one plate at a time, focus on your breathing, enjoy the process and never think about finishing fast. Enjoy as much as you can, look at the plates, forks and spoons closely, wash them slowly and let the water run on them.

Meditating is simply focusing, it is making things slow, it is simply having peace with chaos. It is breathing during pressure times, it is trusting that everything will become alright.

So whenever you feel bad and stressed... meditate. Make your work slow, enjoy the moment while breathing deeply. Inhale and exhale, be aware of your senses and just simply go with the flow.
