Just pick one, only one bad habit and don't do it for the day. If you can finish a day without engaging with that bad habit... congratulations to you, you are starting to change. The next challenge is how to make that effort consistent.
If you can break a bad pattern, if you can have the courage to become a little bit uncomfortable and stop doing one thing that you really love to do but not productive then you will begin to change. The change may not look impactful as expected but the truth is you are really changing.
Cutting a bad habit means welcoming something good in your life, there will be a good habit that will be installed in your system and it will make your life better than before.
You can stop surfing you tube for a day, you can stop smoking cigarette for a day, you can stop gossiping for a day, you can stop spending money for a day. You don't necessarily need to cut the bad habit right away and remove it permanently in your life because that is hard to do. Just test it, test this method and once you see the good benefit in your life... continue it.
If you can remove one bad strong habit in your life then your life will change rapidly. If you can stop doing it for a day then you will become very productive on that day, you will see the good benefits for not doing that bad habit.
Look for a bad habit in your life and experiment not doing it for a day, it will have a small change in your life. You will feel uncomfortable, you will fee that there is something wrong but the truth is... it is right.
