You should now that every process has a loss. If you will start a new process then for sure you will lose something in the past. But that's ok because that loss will be replaced by a new one that is better.
For example if you will start a new business, of course you will lose a lot of money because you will pay for the new place, people and things that is needed for the business but that is ok, you need to burn money to create money. You need to lose something on order to gain something better. And one more thing, don't ever think that it is a loss because you will get more in the future if you stick with the process and work hard to produce results.
It is a loss for now but it will multiply in the future, your sacrifice and investment will pay off for sure.
Another example is a fighter who wants to hire a new team to train him because he keeps losing... His old training partners and coaches will get mad at him or will feel bad a little bit, he might lose them. But it is what it is, you need to lose some people to make your position better. It is the game of life, don't get attached with something or someone if you don't want to feel bad. If you will not risk to lose something then you will not gain more in the future.
Sometimes you need to sacrifice what you have that is already good and lose them to get better in the future. Every process has a loss and you must get use to it. Don't hold on to something that is not serving you anymore, you need to grow and that growth needs a lot of sacrifice.
Same thing as rebuilding yourself and forming new habits. You need to get rid of the bad habits that are enjoyable but useless, you need to forget them so that you will welcome a new habit that has more rewards and will make you a better person. It is hard because the useless habits are more fun and easy but it will not give you anything in the future.
Another good example is a person who is leaving his own country for better opportunity in other country. It is not all about earning more and living a better life, he will lose his touch with his parents, friends and other people that are close to him. With growth comes losing valuable people and things, it is normal and everyone should not make it a big deal.
You can't make everything stay with you if you want to grow, some people or things has to go. Life is not permanent and everyone should be aware of it. Some people will leave you and some people will stay. Growth requires loss and if you can't accept it then you will never grow forever.
