MOST BASIC STEP TO GAIN TRUE CONFIDENCE

LOOK STUPID. People are afraid to look stupid, they are so scared of embarrassment, humiliation and being labelled as ignorant. If you want to become confident you must not avoid being ignored and embarrassed. It is the best way to gain confidence... gain as much experience as you can and take risks. Taking risk especially risks that looks weird will make people laugh at you and criticize you.

You need to endure looking stupid. You will look stupid when you want to learn. You will ask basic questions from people, you will ask general knowledge that for other people are so easy and should be learned while still young. But it is what it is, of course you will not know every easy information on the planet. You're just a human being and even if you are really smart... there are still some common information that you don't know. You should not be hard on yourself if you don't know a very common information, you should still have the courage to ask people when you don't know something. That kind of mentality will give you so much confidence because you are honest to yourself and you are not pretending that you know a lot.

If you can't find someone to ask something... make a lucky guess, make a move, sometimes you will succeed and sometimes not. It is ok to look stupid and ignorant. At least you will learn something and you will know what to do next. That will give you confidence, that will make you understand that it is ok to make mistakes and it is not a big deal to get embarrassed. Once you are so familiar with looking stupid and getting embarrassed.. your confidence will soar high. You will not feel any negative emotion anymore once you look stupid or made a mistake, you will learned that it is not a big deal and there is nothing wrong with it.

People may laugh at you or may praise you for trying. People have split opinions. Some will admire you because of your courage and boldness to try or ask. Some people will belittle you but it is ok, it is not your business to know their opinions. Your focus is to become confident and succeed in life and not to look perfect and smart. If you want to become confident... destroy your identity, forget about making it perfect, forget about looking so intelligent and classy.
