HOW TO OVERCOME YOUR DARK SIDE

Each one of us has a dark side. Each one of us has his own demons that we need  to tame in order to become successful in life. What if your dark side is ruining your life and it's already getting out of control? the answer is simple... accept that your life is a mess and stop doing what you're doing now. Acceptance is the key to another door, acceptance will make you see opportunities to change. If you can just accept that you're lazy then you will think about working hard. The problem with most people is that they can't accept that they're too lazy, they think that they were good and can do something great one day.

If you can just accept that you're an addict and you can't live without taking an illegal substance everyday, if you can just accept that one day you're going to die if you don't stop it then you will stop it now. Forget about the good emotions, forget about feeling high and feeling cool. You can only overcome your darkside if you're willing to face discomfort now.

Uncomfortable feelings, moments and situations is the only path to change. If you're too comfortable with your life now then nothing is changing. You really have to make yourself uncomfortable every now and then if you want something to change. If you will not face discomfort then you will remain the same bum as yesterday. You have to accept that life is going to get harder if you will not do something about it now.

FACE THE PAIN. That's the only way to overcome your dark side, face the pain of change, face the pain of not doing your bad habits that is giving you a temporary high. It's too easy if you will just stop all the BS now, it's better to do nothing at all than to do something that will make your life miserable. If you don't know what to do then stop doing anything, just make sure you will not come back to your bad habits anymore. It's better to stay still than to go back to your old bad habits. What are your bad habits? what is making your life miserable? accept that it's not propelling you forward and stop doing all of it.
