I know you've been bullied at one part in your life, I know you've been disrespected in the past but you must not see yourself as a victim. There will always be people who will treat you bad but don't ever feel weak if you've been treated that way. It is normal, not all people will be good to you even if you're the coolest and kindest person in the world.
The key here is to never see yourself as a victim. Treat it as normal and move on, focus on your strengths, focus on your goals and you will forget everything. There are better things to place your focus. Focus on the positive side of your life, bad incidents will soon be forgotten.
A lot of bullied individuals can't forget their dark past, I know bullying is true but sometimes even if it is just a small joke they take it personally, they make dramas, they want sympathy right away.
If you're looking for sympathy... you will never get it. You must show them that you're strong and not weak. If you want them to be on your side then stop talking about dramas, talk about strengths and possibilities.
Playing a victim role is the most unattractive behavior. It is the ugliest showmanship that you can ever have, it's like having the self pity, it is vulgar display of weakness.
See yourself as someone who is growing from that pain. Take that incident as a sign that you must not become complacent or else that bullying will happen again. Grow from that experience and take it positively.
It is your perspective that matters, if you see it as just ordinary day then it is, if you see it as a big deal and you must make dramas from it then you will only become a loser in the end.
