A lot of people wants to look expensive, they want to look fancy. They will buy clothes, shoes, cars that they can't afford just to look rich. The truth is... if you will be confident with that you have and you can show your true colors then you will never look cheap, you will even look elegant.
If cheap things is the only thing you can afford then go for it, never be scared to use it and show it to people. What matters is you are confident in using it.
The attitude in using those cheap things is what matters the most, if you can accept using those things and not feel ashamed about it then you are fine. You know that there is another mission behind that choice, you know that you are saving your money for bigger things and that's what matter the most.
Look cheap now, work hard, save your money and buy elegant things later when you're already successful. Don't pretend that you're rich if you have no savings, don't act like you're someone who has a deep pocket and your money never run out.
Fake shoes, fake jewelry, simple clothes... don't be afraid to use these things. It is temporary, if you keep working hard and establish a strong financial status then you can buy expensive things later, you can buy what you want. But for the moment you have to endure using cheap things, there is nothing wrong with that, it is being realistic and being appreciative of what you have. It is making decisions smart, it is taking care of your money very well.
Don't be afraid to get criticized, don't be afraid that people will laugh at you. Always remember that you are looking at the bigger picture and that is to get rich in the future. Don' try to look rich, try to get rich. You can only do that by being real and saving a lot of money.
You will even feel better if you have money in your wallet and using cheaper things than using expensive things but have a lot of debts. Not all what you can see is real, you may get stunned by people who wore flashy things but you don't really know how much they have. Some are just good in pretending, don't feel envy at them because you are real, you know you have something.
