One of the biggest problem nowadays is you're getting a lot of inputs. A lot of things were confusing you that you already forgot what it takes to win. You're always watching some videos on how they do that, you're dreaming about it but where is the action? you've been talking about it but where is the sacrifice? you're completely lost because of those videos. If you're dreaming about it then be about it, don't just watch it, don't just try to duplicate it... there is a big work behind that success.
Most kids nowadays were watching the videos of their idol Stephen Curry, they were copying his moves, they were shooting threes from half court. That is becoming a huge problem because they were dreaming of doing Curry's style too. They don't know that there is a lot of hard work behind that shot. It takes years to master something, they think that they can just copy someone's style and emulate the same success. That's becoming a problem that most you kids are facing now... they are dreaming about something but they are not willing to put in a lot of work. Practicing it once, twice or thrice will never work, you have to practice it a million times.
People were getting a lot of inputs from you tube and any other source. They were getting the ideas of becoming successful, they were seeing success stories and they also want to become one. There is nothing wrong with that, what's wrong is most people wants to become successful past, they don't want to work hard. They just want to copy the same success that they seen on the internet. It's not about copying it, it's about doing it. You can never copy someone's success if you are not willing to work a lot and improve yourself day by day.
The problem with people is once they see someone doing it... they want to do it too. They want to become successful too, they think they can do it too without having to work for a very long time. And once they saw that they can't do it, once they saw that it is hard... they will quit right away, they will never even try again.
Success will not come to you if you will keep on watching other people's success and dream to become like it too. There is a lot of behind the scenes with that success. You need to be realistic here, if you want to become like them then discover the behind the scenes, do the work needed to go to that level.
