Anxiety is really hard to deal with especially if you feel like you're having a heart attack. You're so shy, you don't know what to do, you want to hide on the mountains and live peacefully with the monkeys and snakes. You feel weird, you want to run but you can't, you're sweating like a maniac and you feel so weak. You don't even want to talk with anybody. This article tackles about how to beat anxiety, I have these steps that I test for myself and it made be a better person, I begin to feel peace every time I am talking to a big personality, I feel so calm and relaxed.
1. Destroy your identity. Be ready to look ugly and funny, be ready to look like a bum. This is just practice. Whatever you are feeling now... feel it, it doesn't matter if they laugh at you or look at you... just feel it. There is nothing wrong with you, you just need to feel it. Embrace your sweaty armpits and palms, listen to your weak voice, appreciate that you're still alive. Don't be afraid of what people say, you have a problem and you need to fix it. Every experience will help, even if you really look bad in front of a lot of people... just deal with it. You want freedom right? the only way to escape that mental slavery is to look like a clown. Accept that you're not special, you're just a human and you're allowed to look stupid and low. Try destroying your identity every now and then and have fun.
2. Face it. Face every problem of your life, face your fears, it's easier said than done right? but facing something is just a matter of forgetting about what will happen next. Face it like it is nothing, don't give something or someone power, just think that every situation is a common situation, never treat anything as special so that you won't feel any pressure. Don't be afraid of getting rejected, don't be afraid of asking. Don't expect that they will become nice at you, it's better if they ignore you or reject you, you need to feel the pain over and over again until you realize that it is nothing. You got rejected, you got humiliated, was it really a big deal? no right? Face it now, if you will not face it then you will become scared forever, you will become a loser in your whole life.
3. Don't prepare. Anxiety is building up because you're preparing too much, it's better if you will not prepare so you won't overthink things. Because even if you prepare or not... your anxiety will still attack, practice going with the flow, if you're not prepared then you have no choice but to be yourself. If you are prepared then you are following a layout, what happens if your plan didn't materialize? you're in a panic mode right? so stop preparing and just have fun looking like a bum. Remember, this is just a practice, everything is just a practice, every experience is just a stepping stone to make you hard. You need to look stupid all the time so it will never bother you and you will never get insecure again in the future. It's like... you're already a loser, what is left to lose? nothing right? once you realize that it's ok to get embarrassed then you will feel better, you will have more confidence.
