WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE DEPRESSED?

There are millions of books about depression, they will tell you to do this or do that but the creator of the book itself doesn't experience depression yet. How dare they talk about depression if they don't know how it feels. The solution for depression is action... it's either you walk, jog, climb a mountain, bike or do something that will make you sweat. You need to feel some physical pain, the cure for a mental pain is a physical pain that is healthy, not a physical pain that is somehow masochistic.

You need to sweat, stop thinking and just keep walking, keep moving forward, it doesn't matter where you will end up... you can always come back. Always keep moving forward and your mind will be able to think clearly, you will find the solution. You will discover what do you really want in life, your perspective will become more positive. Exercise is the best medication, you can lift weights, you can do something that is a little bit hard to do. Once you force yourself to take actions then depression will subside a little bit.

Action is better than anticipation, the more you wish for things to become better the more it will become worse. But if you will simply move and do one positive thing at a time then you will be able to surpass depression. Stop thinking and start moving, that is the key to feel good.

Overthinking, over worrying... this will poison your mind. Remember that depression is only in your head, sometimes people are just making dramas and excuses, depression is weakness and action is power. If you want to retain your power back then you need to move, force yourself to take the first step and your life will go back to normal. Once you take the first step... never stop until you're tired, never stop until it's time to sleep. And once you wake up... stand up right away and move, as simple as that.
