Focus on your own job, focus on your own life and you will become more successful. Your number one enemy is you're minding other people's business, you don't know what your job really is. You have to know what you need to do in order to become successful. Because sometimes you know what to do but you're not doing it for whatever reason, you're not focused, you're focusing on some other things that are out of your control. For example if you are an aspiring you tuber and you want to become successful in this business you have to focus on creating content and not on people liking your work, stop focusing on how many subscribers you get today because it's draining a lot of your energy. It's not your job to subscribe, it's not your job to rank your channel higher... it's you tube's job. You can never force people to subscribe on your channel because it's not your job. It's their job to subscribe on you, it's their job to like you, and if they can't like you so be it.
If you're a basketball player then your job is to play basketball, it's not your job to create noise about black lives matter. Look at the Milwaukee Bucks, they boycott one of their games because of trying to get an attention about the topic of black lives matter, they lost their focus and that's why they lose to Miami heat, they were upset, they were the number one see but they never advance to the finals because the didn't focus on their job. That's what you get for not minding your own business, it's the government's job to arrange what is broken in their country, it's not your job, you have nothing to do with that. I am not saying that you should not care about humanity but my point here is you should know what you really want, you should focus on your job if you want to become successful. After losing to Miami Heat what did the Bucks do? did they continue pursuing justice? no, they just go home and do nothing. They focus on rebuilding and plan what they are going to do next season.
One good example of a person focusing on his job is Khamzat Chimaev, he is a great UFC fighter and he knows his job very well that is why he is so dominant. According to him his job is to smash people and earn money. Very simple, he made his life and approach simple that's why he is so dominant. He doesn't even know how much money he is going to make because that's not hos job according to him, it's his manager's job, imagine that? he is so focused on doing his job and that's why his energy is not scattered that results to being a dominant force in UFC.
If your job is to earn money then just earn money, stop focusing on people that you hate in your office, stop focusing on your asshole boss, stop focusing on the difficulty of your job, just focus on earning money because that's your job. If your job is to write then just write, stop focusing on people's opinions, stop focusing on the critics and just be yourself. Just like the birds fly and fishes swim, they were focus on their jobs and not minding other animals' jobs that's why they were so happy and successful, that's why they have a simple and less stress lives. Focus on your job, what is your job now, if you're a street sweeper then just sweep, don't get mad at people throwing trash everywhere, don't get mad at people spitting on the street, just sweep because it's your job. In order to become successful in life you need to know what you need to do and stop focusing on the things that are outside of your control. What is your job for today? what is your task for today? focus on it and ignore all the distractions. If your mom told you to wash the dishes then be dishwasher, don't be a gamer who play video games, don't be a facebook surfer who gossips about useless information, focus on washing the dishes so that your life will become easier, once you're done then you can go to the next task waiting for you or simply do what you want to do.
