It's not about the results, it's not about the final product, change is endurance, it's mental stamina. It's a commitment, a lifestyle, it's following through what you have started. Change is not something that you aim for, it's something that you do every single day, it's not a dream, it's not a destination, it's a forever process and you have to trust the process, trust that you are changing by going further as much as you can even if you can't see any result. Pick the behavior that you want to do, pick the new identity that you want to use and live and die with it. Stop changing to an easier path, you need to make a stand for what you start and never look for shortcuts. Never look for a reward, change is sacrifice, it's creating a new personality to change your reality.
It's simply not doing, unlearning and choosing the other option that is not fun and exciting. You have to get rid of all the bad habits that is pulling you down in the past. Change a new thought pattern, forget the past and stop reminding yourself about your mistakes and weakness. You have to embrace the new habits that are very boring and tiring, you have to stop all the bad behaviors that are so easy and comfortable but is making you weak and miserable. Change is done step by step, you can't rush it, you need to feel it and accept that you have a new character now and you will no longer play the weak and lazy game. You have to accept that you're trying to win now and that you need to make big time sacrifices in order to forge a new life.
The coward is fighting now and he will fight forever. The lazy is working harder now and he will work very hard every single day. The slow is moving faster now and he will maintain that pace forever. Watch all of your actions, watch yourself... is who you are right now your ideal self? do you love what you are seeing now? do you see strength and seriousness? do you think that your attitude now will get you on top? do you think that your habits now will give you a higher percentage of winning? if not then be ashamed of yourself and then make a change. Force yourself to do something new, force yourself to think better, change your way of thinking, erase all the bad thought patterns that are making you stuck and miserable. Anything is possible, this can be done, all it takes is commitment and decisiveness to go all the way no matter what.
Anybody can change, you can teach the old dogs some new tricks, you can teach a terminal how to become kind. It all depends on the person that is trying to change, it takes a lot of willpower and energy to change for the better but it is worth it. Give it a try, no matter how weak or old you are you can still change. No matter how dumb you are, no matter how much of a failure you are in the past... you can still make your life better. You can create new thought patters, you can learn a new skill, you can move faster and work harder... it all depends on you.
