Just because you're already old doesn't mean you can't dream anymore. Just because you failed a lot of times doesn't mean you don't have the right to dream anymore. It is what it is, sometimes you will win and sometimes you will fail. Nothing can stop you if you will believe in yourself hard enough to keep pushing even if it's already impossible to win, sometimes that's all you can do... keep pushing and pushing and be relentless until you become successful. Because you will never win if you will never push, you will never win if you will forget what you've started. It's alright to keep pushing for your dreams because you have the right to do that. It's your right, it's your privilege, don't ever think that you're not qualified to pursue a big dream. You are allowed to pursue any dream may it be big or small, you can start working on it right now. The good thing about this life is you are free and you're not a slave like the people on the old ages, this is a different generation now... you are free to be anything and nothing will ever stop you.
It's your mind that is stopping you from becoming successful, you always think about the difficulty of the process, you don't believe in yourself. Or maybe you believe in yourself a little bit but that belief is not enough, you need more, you need to get blinded by your belief, you need to become obsess with it and never think about anything else other than your dream. If you really want it then you must power through, you must get out of your old self and start creating a new identity, create a new personality that will help you to achieve your dreams faster than before.
So whatever you are doing now that is pointless or useless... stop it, start doing something that is related to your dream. If you really want it then you better put all of your efforts to it, use your time and energy to make your dreams come true. It is not illegal to dream about big things, you can pursue your dream anytime you want. Shoot for the stars and keep shooting until you hit it.
