Create a fake story and then make it real, get serious in the end. For example, you create a story in your head that you are great, you try to become great, you work hard, there is no pressure and then you will take it seriously once you see that you are succeeding a little bit. It's like not being attached to it too much but deep inside you really wanted to win, it's like exerting a mediocre effort everyday but you keep getting better everyday and putting some new additions to your journey.
For example, you wanted to become a director, just pretend that you're just playing, try to direct some movies that you don't take seriously and then as years go by you are getting better and better on it and you're already taking it much seriously now, you are not joking anymore and you already mean real business.
This is how to make the journey easier, you fake it then you make it. People can't start something because they want to make it perfect right away, they don't want to just start and throw themselves out there, they're always looking for the perfect timing, they're always looking for the best way to start and that's why they can't start. But if they will just fake it until they make it then their lives will become much easier.
Just like in trying to earn a million, you add one dollar a day to your piggy bank, at first you're not so serious about it but as the days and months go by you are beginning to feel that your piggy bank goes heavier and heavier, you are creating a very strong momentum and the opportunities for making money keeps on getting attracted to you. And then later you will find out that you already have thousands then you begin to told yourself that you can do it. At first it's just a joke and then you take it more seriously as you keep on getting small amount of success that piles up everyday. Your money become bigger and bigger, you think about it everyday, you fall in love with the process and you become unstoppable. And then later you will feel invincible, you feel that there is nothing you can't do.
