Jayson Tatum made a lot of hype last season by challenging Lebron James to a seven game duel during the eastern conference finals. He was so happy that Lebron is not on the east anymore but not so fast Jayson Tatum... Giannis Antetokounmpo is the new king of the east. Giannis is dominating the Boston Celtics right now and Jayson is nowhere to be found. A lot of hype makers created a hype that he is the next Kobe Bryant but I never see any shades of greatness from this kid. Maybe the hype did grow in his head and he believes that it is easy to dominate in the NBA. He is not even averaging 20 pts per game so how is he the next Kobe? he is a good player but not a great one. For me he is more of a Steve Smith type of player than a Kobe. He can never be the alpha male on a team, he is not even the second best player of the Celtics.
Tatum should work harder this summer and elevate his mental game to the next level if he wanted to become great. The pressure is on his shoulders if he wanted to get huge Contracts.
