When nobody is watching, you go hard by yourself, you practice and prepare, you study something, you experiment, you grind and hustle, you visualize, you discipline yourself, you practice delayed gratification, you make sacrifices and push yourself to the limits but is not telling it to everyone. You do it because you want to do it for yourself and not to impress anybody here.
Because most people will tell what they've been doing even though they just did it for a few days or weeks. Most people will try to look good in social media by telling their plans and that's why they can't become great... they're focused on impressing and bragging and not on the process alone. Discipline will make you powerful, if you're focused on what you're doing and not bragging about it then you will become great. Greatness is not to be brag about, it's a secret thing, you don't care if people notice you, you don't care if you're not being appreciated. When the time comes and you're ready... your greatness will speak for itself. You don't need people to learn what you've been doing, they will see it in the future once you're already great, if you're too good then you can never be ignored.
If you want to become great then stop bragging about the ten push ups that you did, make your life a secret and focus on the process. They will see the results if it is real results. You don't need to make people see it, just be quiet and focus on the grind. So if you keep on bragging about what you've been doing recently then you're not going to become great. It's because you're focused on trying to impress people and not on the process itself. Greatness is process, it's a journey not the result. Did Michael Jordan told everyone that he is lifting weights all day long? did Kobe Bryant exposed what he has been doing during the offseason? did Tiger Woods boast about his hard work? did Michael Phelps post all of his training on Instagram? of course not, only fake people will brag about their hard work, only fools will try to impress the world about their work ethic.
Because you are suppose to work hard, it's your obligation, why will you feel good about it? why will you feel superior than others because of it? why will you tell the world about your actions? hard work should be your daily routine, it should be your lifestyle, it's nothing new, it's just a normal day. Fools are really not working hard, they just wanted to get notice. If you're really great then you will never be proud of your hard work, you will treat it like a normal thing in your life and you will repeat it every single day. The fake ones will only work hard for a few days and will stop once they can't see any progress, they will stop once they feel that it is hard and impossible.
You should keep it a secret if you're working hard, don't talk about it, don't feel proud about it. Stay humble, stay with the grind and let the results come naturally.
