If no one believes in your work for now, don't get discouraged, don't stop, just keep working hard because they will believe in you one. This happens to a lot of rookies, a lot of newcomers, a lot of beginners who where trying to make a name for themselves. They were mocked, criticized, nobody believes in them, but in the end they prevail and redeemed themselves. That's what power of hard work does... it will mold you into a beast, a persevering beast. You will fail, you will never get the chance of using or showing your skills but in the end you will have a break.
Just like a rookie in the NBA trying to impress his coach, he is not getting a playing time at first but he keeps working hard, he is relentless and motivated. While some players would already have given up because of not getting a chance to play, this rookie is different... he knows he will have a chance one day. That day will come, it has been seen a million times that you will have a break if you're motivated and working hard despite of numerous failures. The universe will make a way for you, something unexpected will happen, a star player might get injured and the rookie might be the choice of replacement. Or the coach will realize that the rookie is also good and he might give him a chance as well. The lesson is to keep bettering yourself, keep improving your skills, keep practicing because one day the opportunity will knock on your door, and if you're not ready then that opportunity will go away. The magic of staying ready always win, you have to keep getting better everyday in what you do because your number will be called, you will have a time to shine, you will be given an opportunity.
Just like building a brand, nobody believes in your brand. Like the Nike brand, nobody is using it before, but if you keep on promoting and improving your brand the customers will come. All you have to do is wait for years, keep getting better and soon your brand will be known. Work hard even if your brand is not selling, just survive it one day at a time, never quit because that will be the end of your journey if you do that. Don't quit because it will become your habit, you will always quit if you can't see any result from what you're doing.
People's trust should be earned and not something to wish for. You need to prove that you're something, that you can also perform and produce strong outputs. If you can't see any progress from what you do then just keep working hard, keep pushing because hard work pays off, it never fails anyone who trusted it. It's only hard in the beginning, it will become very much easier once you have your break, and you will only have it if you keep believing the process. Believe in your work, believe in your ability to persevere.
