YOU WILL ONLY BECOME MENTALLY PREPARED IF...

if you work hard, if you really prepared physically, if you did the training, if you practice everyday. That's the only way you can become mentally prepared. Visualization and affirmations will never work if you didn't do the work physically. There are no shortcuts, there is no magic formula, you really have to sweat for it, you really have to grind for it because you will only become confident if you suffered. Hard work is the key and nothing else, there is no shortcut, you cannot cram preparation. If you're competing tomorrow you can't be just working hard now and expect to win, you need to have more time, your body will not respond to the calling of greatness if all you do is be lazy the whole month. Your mentality will only get stronger if you give your all and quit complaining about life. 

IF YOU KNOW YOU'RE GOING TO WIN

If you know you're going to win then it doesn't matter if the process was hard or not, it doesn't matter if you're struggling or not... you will go hard and push yourself to the limits, you will do anything humanly possible, you will go to the extreme and will never stop, as simple as that. Just keep going, keep trying, that is your philosophy, it doesn't matter what people say. If you really believe in yourself then you will never worry about anything else, you will never worry about other people, you will never worry about the challenge that is in front of you. If you're really prepared for a long time, if you're really willing to work hard then nothing can intimidate you... ever. Don't complain, don't stop, don't mind your emotions and just keep going, if you really believe it then you will never stop it, as simple as that. You will only become mentally prepared if you're giving your all and not taking any single day for granted. Just take the next step and keep moving forward all the time, don't stop, don't settle... keep pushing until you get better. 

JUST A SMALL GRIND

Just a small grind here and there will get the job done. Grind for a few minutes then rest and then go back to grind again. Grind for a few hours then rest then go back to hustle again, the grind should never stop, it should become your lifestyle if you want to take your life to another level. There's no way something can stop you, you can work anytime you want, you can take actions anytime you want, it's just a matter of using your willpower and tenacity. Don't be scared of the next step, don't be scared to take the next action. No matter what happens... always choose activity over inactivity. Because if you are grinding you are improving, as simple as that. You need to keep on pushing, keep on doing what is best for you. A small progress is much better than no progress at all, be patient, it takes time, being mentally prepared is being patient and believing in the power of hard work.
